Job Description
We are looking for a Software Tester / QA Tester to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for testing software applications, identifying defects, validating functionality, and ensuring product quality across different testing stages.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand business and technical requirements and prepare test scenarios and test cases.
- Perform Manual Testing including functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
- Follow SDLC and STLC processes throughout the testing lifecycle.
- Perform API Testing using tools such as Postman.
- Identify, document, track, and verify software defects.
- Work with defect-tracking tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
- Perform or support automation testing using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Collaborate with developers, QA team members, and other stakeholders to resolve issues.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and follow testing best practices.
Required Skills
- Good understanding of SDLC & STLC.
- Strong knowledge of Manual Testing.
- Basic knowledge of API Testing / Postman.
- Familiarity with JIRA / Azure DevOps is preferred.
- Knowledge of Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Basic programming knowledge in Java, Python, JavaScript, or any programming language.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
